Please note:
Barwon Water is installing pipelines at the eastern end of Apollo Bay township. VicRoads has been advised that this work should not impact on traffic flow. However please be aware that there may occasionally be loose stones, clay or other material on the road surface where trucks are entering and exiting.
Motorists are requested to take notice of roadwork signing and obey all traffic instructions.
Motorists are advised:
- the Great Ocean Road is not expected to be closed at any time due to these works
- there are no works planned for the Easter public holidays
- due to the narrowness of the available roadside, some lane closures will be necessary
- roadworks may be undertaken at various locations along the road and road users may be delayed more than once during their trip
- no work is planned on weekends, but roadworks speed limits may apply on weekends as well as week days.
